Michigan greenstone, chlorastrolite aka Isle royale greenstone. Michigan's rare state gemstones are only found on Isle royale and on the Keweenaw peninsula. Only one or two out of a hundred are gem quality stones. Colors range from a blue green to a black stone with a cat's eye like chatoyance, having a turtle back pattern, or large chatoyant cells. Pendant comes with copper chain 14"-22" with lobster claw clasp. please specify at time of purchase if not specified 18" chain will be sent. All pictures are taken in natural sunlight.
