This engine has good compression, smooth lower unit gears and is a 9 on a scale of 1- 10 The only reason its a 9 is because it has a reproduction shroud ,made from the original. Original Cover and lower pan were plastic . This one is Fiberglass and exact in every way except for the material from witch it's made.Fiberglass is stronger and better.These engines have become scarce to find so dont loose this one.
