COMET CMX-2300 TWIN Dual Cross-Needle Watt / SWR Meter 3KW HF, 200W VHF / UHF *** FREE Shipping to the lower 48 USA! (Please contact me before bidding for shipping costs outside this area) *** This is a very cool COMET CMX-2300 TWIN watt / swr meter. The backlights are powered by any standard 12v-13.8v power supply. No power supply is included, however power is not required for the meter to work. It's in good overall condition, showing only minor marks from previous use and works great. Handles 3000W HF / 1000W VHF on the left meter from 1.8-200MHz, and 200 watts VHF/UHF on the right meter from 140-525MHz. There is a switch on the rear of the unit to switch it to passive peak-reading mode if you want to measure power in SSB, for example. These meters are very nice, but they are known for being hard to read due to the meter colors and the way Comet did the backlights on them. I decided to improve the readability of the meter, so I carefully modified this one by adding two down-facing white LEDs on each meter, and now it is super easy to read the power scales accurately. I also added some labels to the front with the frequency ranges, but they would peel right off if you didn't like them being there.
