Our financial lives are complex, and there’s no single approach to financial well-being. MAF and Bank of the West are teaming up to provide a free “training the trainer” workshop using the CFPB’s newly released “Your Money, Your Goals” guide. We’ll review concrete, practical tools you can offer clients to help them navigate challenging financial situations and plan for the future. Topics include: Goal-setting Saving for emergencies Managing debts Understanding credit Choosing safe, affordable financial products The workshop will also be an opportunity to speak directly with staff from local Bank of the West branches and learn about products and services that may benefit your clients (for example, the 2nd-chance checking account).
