FULL STRAND OF SAHARA DESERT SHELL BEADS. These were found in Neolithic sites in the Western Sahara Desert of N. Africa, but their age is unknown. They could be only a few hundred years old or they could be Neolithic or earlier. The only thing I know about them for sure is that you don't come across these very often. They include a wide range of sizes, from 1/4" - 1 1/8" in length (6 - 28 mm) and 3/16" to 3/4" in diameter (4 - 21 mm). There is some damage to a few from age and usage, but for the most part they are in pretty good condition. The whole strand is about 26" long. These are not "type" photos, these are the actual beads you will receive. And remember, there is free shipping anywhere in the United States.
