Vintage Paymaster Ribbon Writer 8000 Series w/ Cover - $23 - (Kirksville, MO)

You are looking at a Vintage Paymaster Ribbon Writer 8000 Series Machine with Cover. The item was found in an old machine shed and presents with some minor rust.  The key is missing and the cover is a bit faded, but the ribbon is intact. The batteries had corroded, but the compartment has been cleaned.  The lever works as well as the other components. The first 2 "$" mechanisms are locked in place, but I believe they are supposed to be.  Please refer to the photos for additional information but please feel free to ask questions.
