This is a GREAT Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone. The Mark VI tenor is a modern icon of saxophones. Made popular by jazz greats throughput history the Mark VI is generally considered the finest saxophone ever made and pristine examples can command prices well in excess of $15000 and saxes of the five-digit vintage like this one (56994) are generally considered the best instruments. This saxophone is in excellent condition. It has been relacquered alas but looks nice. There are no real major dents to speak of but a few minor ones and see the pics for the body condition.
