vintage Effanbee doll composition/cloth RARE for parts or restore mama doll - $325 - (Marion, NC)
***MAKE OFFER***Rare and beautiful large composition and cloth doll. Approx. 28" tall. Marked Effanbee on back of shoulder area. She is wearing her original outfit under her pink dress. Original outfit is very dingy, tattered and torn. Pink dress needs a good cleaning. Shoes and socks are not original but fit nicely. Head. arms and legs are made of composition and it has crazing, lifting, cracks and worn off composition revealing material under the composition. Blue sleep eyes work good but whites of eyes have yellowed and she has no eyelashes. Cracks around eyes. Wig firmly attached but needs restyling. There is a small hole somewhere on the cloth because it is slightly leaking sawdust or the material used to stuff it. This doll is to fragile to remove the clothes, socks and shoes. I do not want to damage the doll any more than it is. Cloth body is soiled. Please zoom in on all pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding. Stand is not included.
