Listing a large Platinum / Tanzanite gentlemen’s ring. This is a one of a kind , custom made men’s ring with a huge Cushion Cut 12.02 carat Tanzanite stone. This Heavy 14 ¼ ring has 45.78 grams of platinum that’s almost one and a half ounces . Sorry for the quality of the pictures taken I don’t have a professional studio or the best camera. I tried taking pictures in different lightings. This ring is amazing over a once of platinum, I know the person that had this ring custom made. We worked together for over twenty years. He passed away three years ago and his relatives contacted me just lately asking if I was interested in buying his ring. Paul had this ring custom made about 12 years ago and I remember him taking over five years to find the perfect stone. He returned over 50 stones that did not met his specifications before finding this stone to set in platinum. You can read the insurance appraisal , Mill Creek Jewelers told me it was worth more and that a stone of this quality and size would only increase in value. An insurance appraisal is conservative . Paul always talked about the A and B mines that Tanzanite comes from and the difference in color and size , clarity and deep blue color of this are rare. They have been mined out years ago , when I brought the ring in for appraisal they asked me what I was told the stone was supposed to be.
