Vintage Polan Katz Gold Parasol/Umbrella Early 1900's - $510 - (Bakersfield, CA)

This is a beautiful parasol with a gold handle and a 100% DuPont nylon canopy. This is an original from the Polan Katz company which was famous for its umbrellas and parasols.  Polan Katz was founded in 1906 in South Baltimore and became famous for their Umbrellas that shipped all over the world. They worked with companies such as Samuel Kirk & Co. , Tiffany & Co and others to make the handles for these umbrellas. The business closed in 1981.  This is a rare find indeed with great craftsmanship and work.
