NOS 1931 Champion Tubes & Lamps Calendar - Art Deco Style Woman & Vibrant Colors - $475 - (Carbondale, CO)

What a wonderful looking New Old Stock 1931 Champion Radio Tubes & Lamps Calendar!! This is a stellar example of Art Deco Period Styling ~ from the head shot image of the woman in the center of the calendar, to the vibrant colors of the map and product images. The map of the Northeast states shows the locations of the manufacturing plants for the tubes (Champion Radio Works Inc. Danver, Mass.) and the lamps/bulbs (Consolidated Electric Lamp Co. Lynn, Mass.), as well as the General Offices in Denver, Mass. The overall images of the tube and lamp show an image of each manufacturing plant in the glass of the tube and lamp. Under the Champion Radio Tube box it's marked: Licensed Under Patents Owned or Controlled by The Radio Corporation of America. Under the Champion Lamp/bulb box it's marked: Licensed Under The General Electric Cos. Incandescent Lamp Patents. On each page of the calendar pad is a saying from Poor Richard's Almanack. Maker's marks along the bottom edge of the map image reads: Litho In U.S.A. - Copyright Consolidated Electric Lamp Co. The condition is unused - New Old Stock - Near Mint++. There is only the most minor of issues that includes a few very tiny nicks along the bottom edge of the calendar pad and the first couple calendar pages have the lower right corner with slight bend creases (shown in photos). Dimensions: 34.75 X 18 inches. A REAL GEM!! Please check out all the other great advertising calendars I have listed!
