Vintage American Flag Quilt Christian Cross Patriotic Bed Cover 1776 Handmade - $175 - (Yuba City, CA)

This beautiful quilt is comprised of two layers of various multi-colored patches, herringbone cross-stitched together, and machine sown together without a batting. Originally quilted to celebrate America's 1976 bicentennial, "Bicentennial 200 Years" and the years "1976-1976" are embroidered on one side. It also features two 1976 cloth calendars, random short, red, white and blue twine(?) fringes throughout, and full-size cross on one side. This quilt weighs about 5.5 lbs. and measures 64" x 82".
