WE COMBINE SHIPPING DESCRIPTION: Used better than average condition Celestron "Wedgepod" as shown. Wedge is built into the top of the tripod legs hub, no extension of the legs. Looks like it might have been re-finished at one time as it has a shiny black paint and stainless steel hardware and most we have seen have had an ugly flat black finish that doesn't wear well. Certainly better looking than most we see. Weighs 17lbs. Designed to take the common fork mounted Celestron C8 and C6 SCT telescopes of the day. Note this is ideal for visual viewing for the casual user but not recommended for photography as north orientation is done by moving the entire unit and the legs are not extendable which can make leveling more complex, neither of which is necessary for casual viewing.
