1967 Topps Rubber Uglies- 72ct in Box- Original Horror Pets! Full Box C Based on the Classic Topps Ugly Stickers series with art by Basil Wolverton & Norman Saunders! The first (original) Rubber Uglies were sold 72 to a box at store counters for 5 cents each. They were branded as Horror Pets. This is a full box with even distribution of characters (6 of each). All of the figures are like new. There is a very nice assortment of colors (paint & rubber) in this lot! The rare box is in Fair/Good condition. The box was assembled using staples when new. The original staples are present, still holding the box together with no rust on them. The box has bends and creases and corner edge splits.The header perforation is unbroken. Please examine all pics carefully. Refer to the Norman Saunders Rubber Uglies website for a quick reference to the original characters. 11 of the 12 figures use these names, the one I couldn't find is named Moon Bug.
