One of the earliest letters from Bill Watterson to a fan who saw his talent early on when Calvin and Hobbes first came out. The letter is marked Jun 10, 1987. Who would have thunk that Calvin and Hobbes would surpass the popularity of Krazy Kat? Even then, his principles were set as shown by his demands that: 1) The trade would include an original Krazy Kat 2) The owner could not sell or trade the Sunday strip 3) That the work will eventually be donated to OSU. This letter is a part of cartoon history.
