Mondo Grass is a clump forming grass like evergreen perennial and is 2-4 inches tall. It is commonly used as a low lying border, in-between stepping stones or as a ground cover is shady areas where regular grass will not grow. Mondo grass does produce a small white flower from July to September then they put on beautiful blue berries. Use a slow release granular fertilizer in spring.
