Rare Vintage Carved Solid Wood & Horn Bull Bookends by Jose Pinal-Heavy - $250 - (Thorp, WI)
This beautifully hand-crafted set was made by renowned Mexican artist Jose Pinal--both are hand-signed by the artist. There are no chips or breaks and only minor scuffing, with one base having a scratch on one side. I have never found another set like this and they are fairly heavy and well-constructed by the artist. Due to the nature of the hand-made process, the measurements for each is not identical--one measures 9" X 8" X 7.5" while the other measures 8.5" X 8.5" X 8". It is not a significant difference, but I mention it just to be thorough. The items you see in the photos are precisely the ones you will receive. I ship securely (primarily via Priority Mail which has minimal physical handling of the package and includes up to $50.00 insurance).
