1880's Victorian outfit with antique accents - $599 - (Platteville, CO)
For the serious costumer that appreciates beauty in Victorian clothing. This handmade never worn one-of-kind outfit is embellished with authentic vintage trimmings. The bodice is made from quilted brocade and the top and sleeve has double rushing in an iridescent gold fabric. Small ruffling in a medium yellow is used for some trim. The collar is made from authentic handmade silk accented with rhinestones with thick chenille hand sewn leaves. The bottom of the bodice is trimmed with matching Venice lace. The quilted brocade has scattered rhinestones attached. The back (as shown in one of the pictures) has very old woven and beaded accent hanging down on each side. The skirt is made of shining green fabric and has appliques cut-out of the bodice fabric in the front accented with rhinestones and florettes made with the same top rushed fabric. The bustle has a beautiful metallic thread applique displaying a bluebird all handmade. The bustle has different coordinating fabrics enhanced with beads, ribbon and tassels.
