18thc Sugar Nippers - $125 - (Fincastle, VA)

These sugar nippers are made of iron with wonderful decorative touches. Please look at pics.These nippers are large, 10" long. While the hook on the bottom is missing the hand grips are in tack. Sugar came in cones and you would nip off what you needed. Sugar was a very pricey commodities and was kept under lock and key by the madam of the house.One of the nippers has a chip. Very small. The decorative touches are on both sides.
