RARE DRP Ernemann Ernostar Anastigmat f/1.8 165mm Ultra Fast Lens #166999 - $5,000 - (Silver Spring, MD)

Up for sale is a beautiful ~100 year old used lens in good operating condition. Lens was rarely used. There are scuff and wear marks on the lens body. Beware that this is not a standard camera lens and it has only aperture controls from f/1.8 to f/32. There is no focusing mechanisms. The aperture control mechanism is operational but not very smooth. Other than the a small defect in the middle of the front lens, all lens elements are in great condition, no fungus and no haze. Lens comes with mounting ring. This lens was purchased new for evaluation. It was used to conduct experiments (long long time ago) for industrial high resolution imaging applications. Subsequently, It was kept in environmentally controlled chambers for all these years.
