RARE DRP Ernemann Ernostar Anastigmat f/1.8 165mm UFast Lens #167037 Excellent!! - $10,000 - (Silver Spring, MD)

Up for sale is a beautiful ~100 year old used lens in excellent optical and mechanical condition. Lens was rarely used and its body shows only a few scuff/wear marks due to usage. Beware that this is not a standard camera lens and it has only aperture controls from f/1.8 to f/32. There is no focusing mechanisms. The aperture control mechanism is operational but not very smooth. Lens elements are in great condition, no scratches, no fungus and no haze. Lens comes with original front and back caps. This lens was purchased new for evaluation. It was used to conduct experiments (long long time ago) for industrial high resolution imaging applications. Subsequently, It was kept in environmentally controlled chambers for all these years.
