1793 Chain cent PCGS AG03 CAC Sheldon 2 variety R4 +. Planchet quality is extremely PQ , no corrosion or porosity with extra clean and smooth surfaces less the one notable contact mark in the right obverse field. This coin was from an old time collection that was raw and graded several years ago.Very tough to find this quality in Early chain cents at this price level plus CAC approved to verify that. It has a warm chocolate brown color with an ancient original skin. The scratch on the reverse is on the slab and not on the coin. Sheldon-2 is the rarest, aside from the non-collectible NC-1 variety.
