This item looks brand new, but it looks like it was returned. I checked it out to make sure all the parts were in the box, and they were. The unit has it's wire that comes from the wall, it's hard-wired in, and it's A/C wire (the wall adapter) is still there. It has a card for your wallet so you can remember your remote access codes when you're away and it also has instructions in English and Spanish.
