For sale is a Singer 201-2 Sewing Machine in a Vintage Art Deco Cabinet. This machine is the highly sought after Centennial Edition celebrating the 100th year of the Singer Company. Its serial number is AJ712990 The machine is in excellent condition. The decals are in excellent condition. The painted surface is shiny and also in excellent condition. There are some minor thin light surface scratches which can be seen if you look closely at the machine. This machine was in my collection for many years. I have regularly maintained it. I have used it and it sews a wonderful stitch. The machine has a potted motor which eliminates the need for a belt. These motors are very powerful. The cabinet is a Vintage Singer Art Deco Cabinet. It is in very good condition This cabinet is the edition that has the inkwell in one of the drawers. On the backside of the cabinet are several paint stains as clearly shown in the photo.
