Slots on top with carved labels “answered” and “unanswered”, two internal compartments divided with glass insert. Working lock with key. Old paper label on bottom reads “Artistic Furnture - Furnish Through (illegible company)”. Circa late 19th century. Measures approx 10.5in wide x 6in depth x 6.5 height.
