19th c Quarter-sawn Oak Document box with brass stamped inset w/ initials. This mid 19th century antique oak box has a flush fit brass plate on the top with the original owners initials. It is absolutely beautiful. Brass lock escutcheon and handles. Dovetailed ends. The quarter-sawn oak has a warm rich patina. Approx 22" by 12" by 6".
