- Very Rare Detrola 400 35mm Rangefinder Camera, Made in Detroit, M39 LTM Description: For sale is a used Detrola 400 35mm camera. It has a Wollensak Velostigmat 50mm f3.5 lens. It was made in Detroit MI 1939-1940 and is a lot like thread mount Leicas of the era. Condition: Cosmetic Condition: There is substantial wear and signs of use and age. The leatherette is missing from the back. Mechanical/Optical Condition: This camera is being sold for parts or restoration and is not working properly. The shutter speeds all fire but are not accurate, especially the longer ones. The rangefinder is dim and out of alignment vertically. The lens has haze, cleaning marks and fungus. Known Performance Issues: There are problems with the lens, shutter and rangefinder so this one is being sold for parts or restoration.
