John D. Rockefeller The Heroic Age of American Enterprise 1940 Set Author Signed - $299 - (Falls Church, VA)

This is a really wonderful, rare, vintage 2-book set on John Rockefeller by Allan Nevins, and it is signed by Mr. Nevins. Both volumes come in a slipcase that has information on the book attached to 2 sides of the case. The copyright is 1940; these are 1st editions. These books were sold by Brentano’s of Chicago. The author signed a page in Volume 1, and there is a little card attached with a paperclip from Brentano’s that announces that this book is signed by the author. The books are in excellent, clean condition. The pages are in great, clean, writing-free condition. The inside covers each have a spot where a personal sticker once was; I’m including the stickers in case someone wanted to put them back in place. The outsides of the books are in excellent condition too. The slipcase has some wear/spot on one side and has a little bit of separation at the top and bottom on one side. Please see the pictures.
