This is a very nice piece, I would consider it large approx 15 inches. It was found in an estate in Northern Ca, the color & patina tells me it is an older piece, I would say vintage to Antique. It is beautifully scrimshawed on both sides, there are no chips or visible cracks. Note the colors used in the scrimshaw, that appears to be uncommon. If you have any questions email me
