Stunning carved hunt dresser circa 1870. Comprising of 3 sections. Top section of carved double door glazed cabinet flanked either side by barley twist columns, surmounted by carved phoenix cornice with central grotesque head. This stands on carved Lion supports which leads down to bottom section of 2 drawers and a double door cupboard again heavily carved with a lions head. Stunning deep carvings through the whole cabinet. TRULY AMAZING BUFFET HEIGHT: 97" WIDTH: 55.5" DEPTH: 21.5" In good strong condition, does have various marks and imperfections commensurate with age but these only add to its tremendous character.
