I am basing my information from the Craft Yarn Council’s “yarn standards”. 0-lace weight1-super fine2-fine3-light4-medium5-bulky6-super bulky7-jumbo Looms that are best used with 1, 2, 3, and maybe 4 weight yarns have the word “lace” in the titles of the listings. The pin sett for these looms is about 1/3 of an inch on the hypotenuse of tri-looms and ¼ inch pin sett on the short sides. The pin sett is 1/4 of an inch on all sides of square looms and rectangle looms. Looms that are best used with 5, 6 (and 7 works by using every other nail); and are also great when using multiple strands of yarn have the word “bulky” in the title. The set is ½ inch on hypotenuse of tri-looms and about 1/3rd of an inch on the short sides. The pin sett is 1/3 of an inch on all sides of square looms and rectangle looms.This is a 7’ (diagonal) Bulky pin sett square loom with a nail sett of 1/3" sett on all sides.This loom works best when using heavy or bulky yarn, or multiple strands of lace weight or lighter weight yarn. Check out my Pin Looms that have a closer pin sett and can be used with lace weight or lighter weight yarns.This loom measures 7’ diagonally the sides are about 59 inches long with nail sett of about 1/3". A "new" double bolt design to ensure a more stable loom.These measurements are the diagonal squares it will adjust to 4 sized squares. Adjusts to: 4’, 5’, 6’, and 7'. This loom breaks down for easy transport or storage and will be shipped in a 4 inch PVC pipe for protection while being shipped and the tube can be used for storage and transportation PLEASE NOTE: If the weave is overly tight this loom may not keep the square corners and tend to skew a bit.
