Beautiful, vintage Fransiscan Desert Rose eight inch salad bowl, NOS! New Old Stock, Made in the United Kingdom. In perfect condition and never used this vintage bowl still has it's Robinsons-May SKU sticker on it … woah $47 a piece back in the day!!! The Fransiscan hand painted, Desert Rose dinnerware has gone through a few different production companies in different countries over the years, each with a slightly different take on the pattern. The original was Made in California for many years, 1949-1984. The second iteration was produced in the UK from 1985-2003 and finallly the latest pieces are, unfortunately, produced in China. So to keep your set straight you should check the stamp on the bottom to match yours. Complete your collection and amaze your friends this Holiday Season!
