VINTAGE GROLIER BOOK SET This is a vintage Grolier book set of ten volumes of their line of "Treasury of..." books. The first one was published in 1942...see complete list below: 1942...A Treasury of the Familiar 1948...A Treasury of American Literature, Volume I 1955...A Treasury of American Literature, Volume II 1954...The Home Book of Musical Knowledge 1955...A Treasury of Humor and Toastmaster's Handbook 1955...A Treasury of Philosophy, Volume I 1955...A Treasury of Philosophy, Volume II 1955...A Treasury of the Essay 1958...The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Kittredge) 1965...A Treasury of the World's Great Speeches I found these in the garage in a box so there's a little bit of discoloration on one edge of some of them. Also, they were leaning for a while so I've been straightening them out a bit by placing them properly. The books are like new except that they weren't kept in the house...but they aren't damaged...and still appear to be in very good condition. There's a little bit of the name worn off the spine of the Shakespeare volume...and the little bits of white I saw in the pictures is not marks on the book...they just needed wiped and I forgot. They're all very nice and I don't think you'll find any issues with this set...but please see the pictures closely as this is part of the description...
