Up for auction is this Antique Seth Thomas School House Octagon Short Drop Mechanical Wall Clock. This clock is in Very Good condition. The clock has a wood case. The wood is in Good condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs in the wood. The clock has a glass front door for its dial cover with a brass colored bezel. There are no chips or cracks in the glass of the cover. The clock has a white paper dial with black colored Roman numerals for hour markers and black colored hands. On the dial it reads - “Seth Thomas, Manufactured in the United States of America”The clock is in Good working condition. I wound the clock up and it keeps good time.As with all Antique Mechanical movements I would suggest to take the clock in to properly adjust the clock for the proper timing of the clock. The clock strikes a gong on the half hour and counts the hours as it should as well.The clock measures approx. - 24” tall by 16” wideThe clock comes with its pendulum.
