Late 1800's Austro-Hungarian Pioneer Short Sword/Falchion - $825 - (Norway, ME)

An outstanding M1853/89 Austro-Hungarian Pioneer Short Sword/Falchion.  A good untouched post 1889 iron mounted example. The original scabbard is very sound with excellent stitching and pliable leather cover. Picked it up years ago at a show. Believed to have never been issued and kept at an armory.  Very Good condition overall light period wear and natural patina. Blade length: 18" Overall length: approx. 25" It's a beautiful piece for any collection Thank you for looking
