Here is a clean and working Tram. As you can see in the second picture , this is how I clean my trams. The radio is completely stripped and the base is then cleaned. Then all the circuit boards are cleaned and this radio has all (1/2 watt resistors), along with one and two watts replaced on all the circuit boards. One and two watt resistors with higher watts and also all electrolytic capacitors replaced. Once completed the radio is re assembled and checked for receive and transmit. This Tram transmit at 3.8 watts am,( meter showing a little high in picture) and 12 at sideband. It has solid oak sides and higher rubber feet and the power cord is attached. The turner mike 254 is in metallic purple , and great shape. I am listing it for parts/repair because of some persons might not be familiar with this radio and parts being removed .
