A Drake R7A communications receiver that has been tested and is fully functional. It is in excellent condition and has that great performance that these receivers are known to have. The tuning controls, switches and potentiometers all work smoothly and positive. The standard factory installed filtering for an R7A is installed: 2.3 kHz for SSB, 500Hz for CW and the selectivity position marked 4 is adapted to provide a bandwidth of 8 kHz for AM reception. Two optional filters are installed: 1.8 kHz and 300 Hz. The Drake NB7A Noise Blanker is installed. The S-meter and PTO (VFO) incandescent lamps have been replaced with a blue LED kit from Radio Lab Works. This item has always been in a climate controlled, pet-free and a non-smoking environment.
