Claire Murray Rug Vintage Hand Hooked 100% Wool Floral 80 X 111 - $499 - (West Yarmouth, MA)
This is one of my favorite Claire Murray design with its beautiful array of flowers with a pretty checkerboard edge. The vintage rug is hand hooked and 100% wool called "New England Wildflower" in size 80 X 111. The rug has the designer's signature spelled out in the right hand corner and still has the original tag on the back. The rug has no missing yard and looks to have many years of life left. The rug has not been cleaned and would benefit from a professional cleaning. There are a few tiny spots that I have taken close up pictures. The edges of the rug show normal wear. The back of the rug has yellowed consistent with the age of the rug. The rug comes from a pet and smoke free environment. Please see all pictures because they are a BIG part of the description.
