Extremely Rare Large Embroidered White House Presidential Flag. Double Sided Beautifully Embroidered - 4'4" x 5'6" flag with Fringe. This is the larger Presidential flag. This is a quality embroidered heavy flag. This is a beautiful well-made fully embroidered Presidential flag. The eagle and each star are all individually embroidered on the flag. Comes with signed letter stating that the flag came from the White House during the Carter Administration and it was from the estate of a retired career White House photographer who served in the White House from 1955-1981. Includes the brass White House plate that was inside the hoist end of the flag. Plate has "The White House CR 342 6-69" on it which would indicate that it was put into service in June 1969. In excellent clean condition. President Carter (1 October 1924 - ) was the 39th President of the U.S. from 1977-1981. The photographs of this flag do not do it justice. One really must see the flag in person to appreciate the quality and beauty of its artwork. These flags are extremely rare in private hands, due to their limited manufacture and distribution. This would be beautiful displayed alongside presidential autographs or other presidential memorabilia. :
