John Deere 4039 Diesel Engine LOOKS NEW Under 150 hours - $3,250 - (Chouteau, OK)

I removed this John Deere 4039 engine from a Elgin Street Sweeper. This came from a municipality that had installed a new engine into this Elgin Sweeper and after installing the new engine the sweeper was used only as a backup unit. This John Deere engine has under 150 hours of use since it was installed. The city decided to surplus the sweeper and auction it off due to an issue with the injector pump. We personally ran the engine but after a few minutes of running the injector pump stopped fueling the engine and it died. I do not know what is wrong in the pump but if you have a good pump off of your old engine then you will have what is needed for this to be installed into your application. As you can clearly see from the photos this is a very clean unit. It will come just as you see in the photos with everything pictured. I can palletize it and load into a freight truck for no added cost to you.
