YOU ARE BIDDING ON An Apple MacBook Pro A1286 15.4" Laptop MB470LL/A 250GB HD, 2.4GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM- Malfunctioning DVD-R Drive & Battery - SOLD AS IS THE BAD: #1) In built DVD-R MATSHITADVD-R UJ-868 had sand go in it and it's not working, there are ways to clean the optical drive for less than $8 but haven't tried it and the actual replacement drive is only $28 on power book medic.#2) The original manufacturer battery has been replaced and after a year it is difficult for it to hold it's power. Functions fine when plugged to the wall but if unplugged from wall the battery needs hours to recharge and can get pretty hot after prolonged use. The replacement is only 27$ On newegg. Selling AS IS - NO RETURNS. THE GOOD: #1) Updated the OS to 10.6.8 (snow leopard) from 10.5 (leopard). #2) A used logitech bluetooth wireless mouse will be included original price (50$) on amazon. #3) A used tucano second skin (30$) bag for carrying the laptop in to protect against impact. #4) The entire laptop and screen were covered with invisible shield which protected it from scratches so the unibody is in great cosmetic condition. I did include a pictures of everything included.
