Genuine antique map "Nort-Iulande Subdiuisee en ses quatre Dioeceses; Selande, Fuynen ou Fionie, Isles et Prouinces du Royaume de Danemarck....." by Nicolas Sanson, published in Paris. Map is dated 1659. This map shows the four divisions of Denmark, all in some detail with numerous place names. Original outline color distinguishes boundaries. Title is displayed on an ornate floral and leaf cartouche at lower left. Left and right lower margins tattered but image not damaged as shown in photograph. Overall a very nice rare old map. Single fold as issued. Image measures 16 1/4"x 21". NOT A REPRODUCTION. All of our items are genuine antiques as described.
