We are selling our entire 40 year personal collection of Chinese Export Silver. Over 400 examples. Signed for the maker in Chinese characters. Tapering globe with hand raised lotus medallion and sweeping leaf and vine. Atop very softly fluted stippled surfaces. Covers with original lotus blossom finial. Cast and then hand decorated inverted dragon head spout. Boldly fashioned Imperial (5 claw) dragon body handles. Never monogrammed. The Dragon teapot 10 1/2 inches. The tray 22 inches. Complete set is 119 standard ounces. Hallmarked as shown. In excellent condition. Rich, lustreous silver patina throughout. The Imperial dragon handles, dragon spout and lotus floral retain their original crisp, vibrant detail. Tiny section of one lower leg to creamer dragon lost.
