This is a rare souvenir booklet that depicts the city's main buildings of the era. It pulls out. These booklets predate most postcards. So this was the first time visitors could see the city in photos. TITLE: "Souvenir of Buffalo". COMPANY: Chisholm Bros., Portland, Maine. PUBLICATION DATE: 1887 (not listed). BOOK TYPE: Booklet. PAGES: 10. SIZE: 5 by 6 inches. CONDITION: Poor. The entire bottom of the booklet is damaged, likely from water. The pages have been damaged, what looks like mold from that water damage.
