This is a rare souvenir booklet that depicts the city's main buildings of the era. It pulls out. These booklets predate most postcards. So this was the first time visitors could see the city in photos. TITLE: "Souvenir of Chiago". COMPANY: Adolph Wittemann. PUBLICATION DATE: 1886. BOOK TYPE: Booklet. PAGES: 10. SIZE: 6 by 4.75 inches. CONDITION: The red cover has gold embossed lettering. There are some worn spots on the cover. The pages have come unattached from the binding. A could of the pages are close to being separated along the crease.
