This Estate Item is a RARE 18th Century (if not 17th Century) TurkishIslamic Ottoman Warrior Belt inset with 37 Large Carnelian Stones in Gilded Silver with Bronze or Brass embossed Plates surrounding the entire Belt. A Wonderful Medieval or Gothic all Original Item! The Belt is made of a double stitched Leather measuring 1/2" in Width and a full 45" in Length including the buckle with the 38th Carnelian Stone or 41" without the braided end and Buckle. The Carnelian Stones are Large and in Great Condition. The Belt is about 3" Wide. I am guessing the braiding between the buckle and Belt has been replaced sometime over the last 200 years.
