R. C. Murray & Co. Glasgow Antique Copper & Brass Ship's Lantern Nautical - $500 - (Birchwood, WI)
Excellent, all original, copper and brass ship's anchor light made by R.C. Murray, Glasgow, Scotland circa 1920. These lanterns were hoisted onto the mast when anchored to mark location. Lenses are clear to signify at anchor. Original and fully functioning oil burner. It would make a great doorway entry lights or perfect for a nautical touch to any decor. Easily electrified. Height is 23" to top of bail, 18" to top of lantern. It is in excellent condition with original patina. I have deliberately not polished it, but it would polish up beautifully, if that was your preference. Very cool original glass with a picture showing the waviness and a bubble in it.
