Antique Oil Painting of African American Shoe Shine Boy - $235 - (Newport, VA)

Offered is a fine antique painting of an African American boy holding his shoe shine brushes. The frame measures about 14.75" by 12" just the opening that holds the painting is 11.75" by 9". The painting appears to be on a light paper board but I did not remove it from the frame. It is covered on the backside with paper. The painting has a small hole through in the top and bottom center like it was tacked to something before being framed. It is also missing a tiny corner edge. The frame is an old walnut frame and is damaged on the bottom, the fine finish is worn off, see my close up photos. 9 photosAll items I sell are vintage and most are antique. None are perfect.
