Platinum pens are wonderful pens, and the Platinum President fountain pen is extra-wonderful. Rumors are that President Clinton carried this pen with him when he was president. I have no idea if that is true, but what I know is that the Platinum President fountain pen is a regal pen every fountain pen lover should have and use. It is similar in size to the Sailor Large Profit FP as well as the Montblanc 146 LeGrande FP. This combination of color of the body and the silver trim is hard to find. These pens are selling for around $230.
