Item description: For sell is an antique Merrick’s spool desk cabinet. This item has a desk top that folds up, revealing an extra storage area. The cabinet also has 4 drawers labeled Cord, Cotton, Six, and Spool. The top of the item has a slot for an inkwell, but the inkwell is NOT present. The base of this item measures approximately 27.34 inches by 20.25 inches. Condition: Item shows normal wear consistent with age and regular use. This includes fading of the printed labels, paint loss, nicks, and scratches. The ornate back, on the top of the desk, wiggles a bit and the half sphere decoration on the right side appears to have been reaffixed with too much glue.
